While both treatments are similar in that they help to reduce stubborn fat, they differ in how they function and the results they yield. A BodyTite procedure uses an InMode or Ignite Radio Frequency (RF) device with a small tube about the size of a penhead called a cannula. This tube responds to the RF current that comes from the external electrode that sits on top of the skin. These two elements work together for fat liquefaction and collagen contraction.
We usually follow up a BodyTite procedure with liposuction. This procedure is ultrasonic assisted and uses a cannula that penetrates the skin and delivers RF energy directly to fat cells. The energy liquifies those fat cells which we remove via suction. The body then produces new collagen as a result.
