Local Holiday Fun to Keep Your Family Active This Season
Even though the weather is chillier, there’s no reason to hole up at home all winter long. In Durant, Denison, Sherman, and the rest of the Texoma region, there’s plenty of local holiday fun to keep the whole family active.
Denison On Ice & Santa’s Workshop
Thanks to the supportive, generous Denison community, Denison On Ice is back on Main Street this year! Bring the whole family for some outdoor ice skating fun.
The rink is open every day of the week from December 18, 2017 to January 2, 2018 (except closed on Christmas) from 1pm to 10pm. Admission is only $9 and includes ice skates.

Plus, Santa’s in town! Head to the Denison Public Library with the kids for exciting Christmas themed activities. Open on December 29 from 1pm to 6pm and December 30 from 1pm to 4pm.

Christmas at the Anatole
The Hilton Anatole in Dallas has recently added Peppermint Park to their holiday season experience. Peppermint Park is a winter wonderland full of games and activities, visits with Santa, holiday shows, train rides, and light displays.
Peppermint Park will be open from 5pm to 9pm December 26-30, 2017.

The Denison Public Library is hosting a Christmas movie series! Movies start at 10am.
December 18 – The Muppet Christmas Carol
December 19 – The Polar Express
December 20 – How the Grinch Stole Christmas
December 21 – All I Want for Christmas is You

New Year’s Eve Masquerade 2017
Join your community at the Hilton Garden Inn Denison/Sherman/At Texoma Event Center for the 2017 New Year’s Eve Masquerade! Dress to impress in casual-chic or masquerade attire. Wear your sharpest suits and favorite party dresses. Don’t forget a mask!
Tickets include hors d’oeuvres, desserts, coffee, live music, champagne, and a balloon drop at midnight. You’ll be starting 2018 in style.
